Responsibilities - Communicate professionally with internal and external customers about repairs and scheduling - Operate remotely via mobile service vehicle - Travel to locations to support repairs on site at customer locations, as well as in a service center - Follow all manufacturer repair procedures with efficiency without compromising quality and safety   - Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles   - Document all work performed in work order with concise language and technical detail - Conduct road tests on vehicles to ensure quality of the repair   - Perform necessary parts and inventory operations such as parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory counts - Stay up to date with technical skills and required training   - Support manufacturer campaigns and recall initiatives      - Maintain and process accurate expense reporting as needed   - Maintain high quality work and efficiency while working with little supervision   - Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing, dynamic environment    - Ability to perform duties and communicate with a high level of professionalism, in a customer facing environment     What you must have: - 5 or more years’ experience working on cars (must have experience with Electric Vehicles, brakes, advanced suspension, electrical diagnosis, software/firmware updates, basic hardware retrofits, tire repairs and alignment) - Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, automotive shop equipment (e.g., Impact guns, air tools, automotive lifts, floor jacks, etc.) - Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact - Strong computer skills, and strong aptitude to pick up new technology. - Ability to see, read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical schematics  - Impeccable communication skills - Experience using a work order management system including repair documentation, with the ability to document repairs with clear and concise language - A learning mindset including an open mind to constructive feedback - A proven track record of emphasizing safety and quality of work - Ability to give and receive clear and concise verbal and written directives - Ability to perform regular physical work including, but not limited to, stooping, lifting, and moving up to 50 pounds. - Comfort in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment - High attention to detail - Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, according to business need.
