Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Vendor Fleet Manager to manage our vended shops nationwide. The Vendor Fleet Manager position requires advanced maintenance skills, management experience in a automotive dealership, Fleet Maintenance setting, or equivalent, a strong mechanical background, and excellent customer service skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop RFPs in support of automotive services done to support Amerit Fleet Solutions - Draft and finalize work orders, change orders and consulting agreements according to the defined scope of work - Review estimates daily that are submitted from vendors to ensure accuracy - Check the vehicle history to also ensure the work is not covered under warranty repair - Negotiate labor rates with vendors to get the best rate for the client - Conduct post work inspection on vendor repairs to ensure everything the client paid for was completed - Engage with the client to ensure all complaints are address when the vehicles are taken to a vendor - Submit high cost repair estimates to the FRP team for review and also to the client area manager for final approval - Request quotes from Jasper for engines and transmissions, order needed parts from the up fitters and have them shipped to the vendor for repairs - Conduct post work inspections on msc tech’s to ensure they are following AT&T pm scope and also AFS standards. - Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies - Initiates, cultivates and maintains strong relationships with vendors and the Amerit customers they support. - Perform administrative functions; scanner downloads, repair order maintenance and compliance documentation - Communicate with fleet maintenance manager to ensure operation's and company's needs are met - Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Key Competencies and Minimum Education: - Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience - Prior technician/mechanic experience is preferred - Familiarity with key vehicle parts - Ability to update and interact in fleet system - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) - Ability to follow instructions and complete required training - Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills - Must be multi-tasked oriented

The Vendor Fleet Manager position requires advanced maintenance skills, management experience in a automotive dealership, Fleet Maintenance setting, or equivalent, a strong mechanical background, and excellent customer service skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop RFPs in support of automotive services done to support Amerit Fleet Solutions - Starting day by running through the Q of what was added and completed from the night before - Run through emails to verify and send out new list of PM needed for the metrics - Go through times to makes sure task coding is correct - Verify PS times with times worked in MyFleet - Check emails and handle what anything new - Go through each Q for PM and demand work for each area one by one - Knowing what wasn’t handled the day before I started calling the client to get client scheduled for any work that was needed and that is proving difficult for MSC to find - Call vendors and work the vehicle that are involved in accidents and vehicles that are have non-addressable work done - Travel to vendors 2-3 times a week to inspect for any deviations in estimate for repairs that are needed.  Find way to cut cost in the repair estimate then inspect the work that was completed - Take several calls throughout the day from the client and work their issues - Go onsite to MSC locations and do spot inspections on the work they have performed - Guide and teach new ways to the techs to gain more productivity - Assist the techs with mechanical issues that require 2 people. - Make sure all FCR and inventory is compliance daily - Weekly meeting with the entire team Key Competencies and Minimum Education: - Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience - Prior technician/mechanic experience is preferred - Familiarity with key vehicle parts - Ability to update and interact in fleet system - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) - Proficient in MS(Excel, Word, and Outlook) - Ability to follow instructions and complete required training - Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills - Must be multi-tasked oriented
