Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team! The Account Manager partners with our customers and team members and ensures their long-term success. The Account Manager's role is to manage a portfolio of assigned customers with fleet assets under a maintenance agreement, manage the day-to-day requests, reporting, relationships, and account performance while seeking opportunities to grow. 

 

Compensation: Competitive Salary Pay - Paid Weekly, Every Friday! Salary range: $80,000-95,000, depending on experience!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Account Manager will have a deep and thorough understanding of all relevant work orders and contract documents active between Amerit and client, and ensure the business is operating within the confines of all agreements.  Identify risk areas and present them to Segment General Manager (GM). 
  • Receive and manage incoming Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Letters of Agreement (LOA) and contract addendumsReview each for overlapping language, terms, and concepts. 
  • Consistently track Segment KPIs and present results and trends.  
  • Track monthly expense compliance for entire segment. 
  • Manage Segment-wide communications including general updates, organizational announcementsWork with central functions to ensure all team members top to bottom are current and knowledgeable about relevant business updates. 
  • Submit monthly billing and reporting within contract guidelines to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Manage client issued purchase orders (POs), monitor remaining balances, and proactively escalate to internal leadership and client stakeholders when additional funding is needed to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.  
  • Work with program owners to ensure visibility and accurate tracking of purchase orders related to special projects. 
  • Track and escalate station safety concerns reported by the field team, serving as the liaison between internal teams and the client to ensure resolution and a safe work environment. 
  • Maintain a Field Safety tracker in partnership with senior operations leadership to monitor and support the implementation of segment-wide safety initiatives.  
  • Distribute weekly report to managers highlighting employee expenses submitted beyond the 14-day threshold, prompting follow-up and timely compliance among teams.  
  • Oversee business review documents to ensure they are executed timely and are presentable for the customer.  
  • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Calculate quarterly business development managers bonuses and submit for approvals.  
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors. 
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. 
  • Adhoc reporting and presentations based on Segment and customer needs. 
  • Oversee technician onboarding compliance, including uniforms, badges, and client-specific certifications. 
  • Coordinate quarterly town hall meetings to deliver segment updates and foster team alignment. 
  • Maintain and manage segment email distribution lists to ensure accurate and effective internal communication.  
  • Manage segment headcount by ensuring accurate census reporting, overhead tracking, and maintaining an up-to-date centralized organizational chart on a regular basis.  
  • Manage segment swag inventory, including ordering, tracking stock levels, and coordinating shipments to support site visits, station launches, and employee engagement events.  

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

  • Proven experience as an account manager, key account manager, junior account manager or other relevant experience 
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including the field, executive and C-level 
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) 
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Must be a self-starter and can work independently 
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field 
  • Fleet maintenance or automotive industry experience a plus
