Regional Fleet Manager – AV/EV Segment
Location – Hybrid/On-Site (Regionally based depending on market) Remote – LA, CA and San Fran, CA

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Fleet Manager – AV/EV to lead multi-site field operations within our rapidly growing Autonomous Vehicle (AV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) segment.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Regional Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of an assigned region, including multiple customer sites and field teams. This leader directly manages Fleet Managers and may oversee Service Coordinators, Service Advisors, Technicians, and other field personnel.
The Regional Fleet Manager is accountable for ensuring each location operates safely, efficiently, and consistently while meeting expectations for customer service, fleet performance, staffing, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Salary range: $120,000-$145,000 plus annual performance-based bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day multi-site field operations across an assigned AV/EV region.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable Fleet Managers and other regional field leaders.
- Ensure consistent execution across Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Fleet Availability, Productivity, and Operational Efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs, repair-order performance, technician productivity and utilization, staffing, scheduling, and customer SLAs.
- Ensure each site has appropriate staffing, leadership coverage, tools, processes, and resources to meet customer requirements.
- Partner with Fleet Managers to manage technician performance, attendance, scheduling, overtime, employee relations, engagement, and retention.
- Coach and develop Fleet Managers, building a strong leadership bench and ensuring consistent management practices throughout the region.
- Partner with HR on employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, investigations, and other people-related matters.
- Partner with Recruiting and Training to support hiring plans, onboarding, technical development, and workforce readiness.
- Build and protect a strong AV/EV culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, professionalism, quality, and customer focus.
- Serve as an escalation point for operational, employee, and customer issues that cannot be resolved at the site level.
- Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders and ensure concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
- Support new site launches, fleet ramps, customer transitions, and implementation of new EV/AV vehicle platforms and technologies.
- Identify operational risks and performance gaps, establish corrective-action plans, and drive issues through resolution.
- Maintain financial discipline across labor, overtime, travel, purchasing, inventory, third-party spend, and other controllable regional expenses.
- Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews to ensure standards are consistently maintained throughout the region.
Key Skills & Behaviors
- 5+ years of fleet, automotive, transportation, or field operations leadership experience, including experience managing leaders and multi-site operations.
- Strong fleet maintenance and automotive operational knowledge; EV, high-voltage, diagnostics, ADAS, or autonomous vehicle experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop managers, technicians, and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and frontline leadership.
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage escalations and build effective customer relationships.
- Data-driven with experience managing operational KPIs, productivity, staffing, and financial performance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling, and constantly changing environment.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, accountable, resilient, and comfortable taking ownership of complex operational challenges.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region to support teams, customers, and operational priorities.
Measures of Success
Success will be measured by the performance of the assigned region, including safety, customer satisfaction, fleet performance, staffing attainment, technician productivity and utilization, quality, employee retention and engagement, operational KPI performance, financial results, and development of strong field leadership.
