Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled  Mobile Diesel/Trailer  Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Fontana, CA. Due to the mobile role, we are unable to train entry-level technicians on this requisition. Must be ready to interview with examples of customer service for a fleet company and how you resolved customer escalations.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light- to medium-duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing Diesel & Trailer maintenance and repairs. Heavy-Duty DOT Inspections and Repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on Heavy-Duty Diesel & Trailers.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
