This is a Travel Tech position requires Diesel and Automotive Experience. This role requires flexibility, as travel may be scheduled on short notice and can result in sudden changes to your work schedule. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and working in fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
Pay: $36.00 – $43.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday
Shift: Monday - Friday (Flexible with some weekend travel required)

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
- Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
- Non travel weeks will be spent building Mobile Service Center trucks and completing other projects
- Working closely with Fleet Managers and Senior Fleet Managers.
- Perform other duties as required
- Up to 100% travel time
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
- 5+ years of experience performing maintenance on heavy duty tractors and trailers.
- Must have experience with aftertreatment, a/c repair, and electrical diagnostic experience.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
- Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds.
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must perform DOT inspections
Working Conditions
This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
