Position Summary

Regional Account Manager - Western Canada

 

Salary: $75,000-85,000 plus commission

 

Job Description:

 

Pro Reefer, an Amerit Fleet Solutions Company, is dedicated to providing the best service to our customers and as such, we are looking to hire a Regional Account Manager who will be focused on delivering the support and professional attention our customers deserve within the western provinces including Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC. Pro Reefer has been in business since 1998 with a strong internal team and customer base.  We are looking for a Sales Professional who will based in western Canada to properly serve our customers and expand our service offerings throughout the western province. This person will report to our National Sales Manager but will also be expected to work with autonomy as he/she grows our business within western Canada. The candidate will work remotely and will be expected to meet with current customers on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being met. This person will also be expected to prospect and drive new business throughout western Canada and beyond. The individual will be expected to maintain and build current relationships as well as facilitate new business development and territory expansion. We are looking for a Sales Professional who has experience growing a territory through prospecting and building relationships. We have a team of 20+ mobile mechanics in western Canada.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Professional or similar role, preferably in a regional capacity
  • Industry experience is important - Knowledge of reefers, heaters as well as trucks and trailers
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel as required within the region to meet clients

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets and objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that align with sales goals
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current customer base
  • Provide expert advise on fleet maintenance and repairs
  • New customer and revenue growth across western Canada
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty
