Pay & Schedule
Pay: $40.00 – $42.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Thursday
Shift: Monday -Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm
*On-call rotation covering 1 week per month | $150 premium for on-call coverage

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites, yards, and field locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair transport equipment
- Inspect equipment for safety, mechanical condition, and required repairs, and communicate findings clearly to dispatch, service advisors, or customers.
- Use diagnostic tools, scan tools, and service manuals to troubleshoot faults and determine proper repair procedures.
- Complete service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of labour, parts used, diagnostics, and repair details in work orders or mobile systems.
- Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding job status, parts needs, and estimated completion times.
- Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
- Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in transport truck and trailer repairs
- Journeyman license for Truck and Transport Mechanic
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Own tools and storage device
- Good written and communication skills
