Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading U.S. fleet maintenance company, seeks an experienced Program Manager - EV Solutions to join our team!

 

This role directly impacts GM‑level goals and will lead both the tactical and strategic program to grow our services within the electric vehicle (EV) space. The EV Program Manager requires broad analytical skills, strong program management fundamentals, and an ability to be successful in a highly ambiguous, greenfield environment with significant opportunity to define structure, capabilities, and long‑term success. 

The successful individual has a proven work ethic to deliver results, outstanding communication skills, and a bias toward simple, scalable solutions to solve complex problems. This role requires the ability to cross‑functionally lead teams across Operations, Parts, and external resources, aligning stakeholders to build and scale new EV service capabilities. Previous experience in the electric vehicle space is highly preferred but not required; adaptability, curiosity, and strong execution discipline are critical. 

The EV Program Manager oversees key internal and external relationships, develops complex deliverables, and handles both strategic planning and tactical, quick‑turn initiatives. They demonstrate strong business judgment, constantly look for ways to improve operational readiness, and propose innovative ideas and best practices to grow the EV program. This role is responsible for diving deep into processes, understanding current capabilities and constraints, and making critical decisions on how EV services are launched, supported, and scaled. 

The ideal candidate is an analytical leader who makes data‑driven decisions and provides clear recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to influence partners and drive results across a fast‑evolving services landscape. 

This is a remote-based position. Ideal candidates will have a background in EV fleet/logistics operations (non-tech). 

 

Compensation: Competitive salary pay! Paid weekly, every friday! Salary range: $100,000-110,000 annually, based on experience!

Responsibilities: 

  • Be the owner and champion of multiple complex EV‑focused programs and initiatives. Projects may include service growth, operational readiness, parts and supplier enablement, cost reduction, quality and process adherence, and customer experience. 
  • Create detailed project and program plans that include time‑bound commitments, task owners, milestone tracking, dependencies, and burndown reporting. 
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Parts, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and external vendors to align resources and execute against program goals. 
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes and capabilities and recommend scalable solutions to support EV services growth. 
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to provide schedule updates, performance insights, and a mutually agreed upon future‑state vision for EV services. 
  • Leverage data to assess program performance, identify trends, and forecast needs; translate insights into actionable business recommendations. 
  • Present results in clear, structured documents and presentations that include data‑supported findings, hits and misses to plan, risk assessments, and recovery plans.

Logistics 

  • Full‑remote position with less than 15% travel 
  • Occasional weekend work may be required based on program and customer needs 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years of experience creating and executing project or program plans on time and on budget 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Strong analytical background with experience in business or FP&A‑style analysis 
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional initiatives 
  • Experience in fleet maintenance, mobility services, or adjacent industries  
  • Experience or exposure to electric vehicles or EV‑adjacent ecosystems is highly preferred but not required 

 

Preferred: 

  • Program or Project Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile, Six Sigma, etc.) 
  • Experience with program management software (Asana, Monday, Smartsheet, etc.) 
  • Experience building or scaling new services, programs, or capabilities from the ground up 
  • Experience interfacing directly with Fortune 50 customers, including presenting to and influencing senior and executivelevel stakeholders, navigating complex customer environments, and representing the company as a credible program and thought leader
