Refrigeration Trailer Technician/Mechanic – Corona, CA

$42.00 - $48.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days | Potential Bonus up to $2,500!!!

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Refrigeration Trailer Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Corona, CA.

Due to the nature of the repair flow, we could repair some Trailers (DOT Inspections and Repairs) if Reefer Units are in working condition. Required Reefer Repairs (608 required)

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $42.00-$48.00/hour (based on DOT Inspection and Repairs experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday
Schedule: Monday - Friday  2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
• Document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
• 608 Certification
• Experience with PMs and A/C
• 5+ years’ experience in performing repairs on Class 7-8 Trailers
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues
• Valid driver’s license
• Must own and maintain personal tools and a toolbox necessary to perform job duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

Technicians may be exposed to traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Work may involve lifting heavy objects, accessing tight equipment spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling while performing repairs.
