Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US ,is looking to hire a skilled Vendor Fleet Manager in Seattle/Auburn, WA! The Vendor Fleet Manager position requires advanced maintenance skills, management experience in an automotive dealership or equivalent, a strong mechanical background, and excellent customer service skills.
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 annually, depending on experience! Paid weekly, every Friday!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop RFPs in support of automotive services done to support Amerit Fleet Solutions
- Draft and finalize work orders, change orders and consulting agreements according to the defined scope of work
- Accountable for overall vendor management of multiple locations throughout the country to meet corporate timelines and stay within budget of customer contracts.
- Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
- Lead vendor qualification and vendor selection in support of Amerit Fleet Solutions
- Identify and monitor equipment sent to outside sources for repairs
- Plan daily 3rd party services to manage workload.
- Provide support to the operations team regarding all equipment related issues being services by third parties.
- Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
- Initiates, cultivates and maintains strong relationships with vendors and the Amerit customers they support.
- Perform administrative functions; scanner downloads, repair order maintenance and compliance documentation
- Communicate with fleet maintenance manager to ensure operation's and company's needs are met
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Key Competencies and Minimum Education:
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Prior technician/mechanic experience is required.
- Familiarity with key vehicle parts
- Ability to update and interact in fleet system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills
- Must be multi-tasked oriented
