Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Parts Clerk in San Bernardino! The Parts Clerk will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and issuing inventory parts and supplies to support efficient fleet maintenance operations, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely availability of materials for technicians.

 

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $20-$27 per hour, depending on experience! 

 

Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

What the Parts Clerk role looks like:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming parts and supplies to ensure inventory is ready for technicians.
  • Pull and issue parts to technicians quickly and correctly using inventory management systems.
  • Maintain organized stockrooms and perform regular cycle counts to keep inventory accurate and reduce shortages.
  • Process purchase orders, track shipments, and follow up with vendors to resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Update inventory records in the system and generate reports to support efficient parts availability and cost control.

 

What our ideal candidate looks like:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Parts Clerks should have a minimum of two years’ experience in an automotive/fleet parts procurement/distribution environment, or a combination of trade school and hands-on experience
  • OEM/ASE parts certification preferred 
  • Desirable Automotive Parts Clerks will have some automotive/fleet technical background
  • Must have computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
  • Solid organizational and people skills

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Ability to move and position heavy objects
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
