Job Details

Position: Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic
Location: Buffalo, NY
Pay: $34-$44 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00AM - 8:30AM

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services

• Conduct DOT inspections and safety checks

• Troubleshoot electrical and engine performance issues

• Repair or replace brakes, suspension, drivetrain, and undercarriage components

• Use diagnostic scan tools to identify faults

• Complete repair orders and service documentation

• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of diesel or vehicle maintenance experience OR diesel/automotive technology diploma from an accredited technical school

• Experience diagnosing diesel engines and electrical systems

• Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools

• Must provide own hand tools and toolbox

• Basic computer skills for repair documentation and fleet systems

• Strong communication and documentation skills
