Trailer Technician

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic in City of Industry, CA! Our Trailer Mechanics repair and maintain heavy-duty Class 7-8 trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation (including Air Brakes, 90 BIT & DOT Inspections and Repairs on Class 7-8 Trailers. Our role will operate our mobile fleet vehicle and support 2 locations, 5 minutes apart. 

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Incentive, Monthly.

Pay Range:  $26.00 hr - $30.00 hr, pending experience

Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy-duty Class 7 - 8 trailers, dollies, and switchers
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Class 7-8 Trailers
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures 
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance, or PM's, Lights, Electrical and DOTs on Trailers. 
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
