Position Summary

The Sr. Director of M&A Integration & Synergy Realization will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful integration of newly acquired businesses into Amerit Fleet Solutions. They will oversee all aspects of integration planning, execution, and synergy tracking. This role will be instrumental in building and scaling Amerit’s integration management office (IMO) capabilities, standardizing best practices, and ensuring that both financial and operational synergies are achieved. The Sr. Director will partner closely with senior executives, functional leaders, and acquired management teams to drive smooth transitions while protecting business continuity and maximizing value creation.

 

Compensation:Competitive Pay -Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $190,000 - $205,000 base depending on experience and location. In addition, to a bonus incentive plan.

 

Hybrid – remote role with strong preference for candidate to be located in Charlotte, NC

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Integration Leadership
• Partner with the Executive leadership team for end-to-end integration efforts for all newly acquired businesses
• Scale and manage Amerit’s integration management office (IMO), delivering a best-in class integration management experience to all stakeholders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for integration, planning and execution, ensuring accountability across functions
• As M&A activity scales, build and lead a small team of high-performing integration and project management professionals
Cross-Functional Execution
• Coordinate across all major functions (Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Sales) to ensure alignment and execution of integrating plans
• Work with functional leaders to anticipate risks, resolve issues, and maintain business continuity
• Ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Playbook Development & Continuous Improvement
• Implement, and continuously refine Amerit’s integration playbook, tools, and templates
• Drive consistency, discipline, and scalability in Amerit’s approach to integration
• Capture lessons learned and best practices from each transaction to strengthen future integrations
Synergy Realization
• Partner with Finance and business leaders to track, measure, and report on synergy capture (cost savings and revenue opportunities)
• Identify additional value creation opportunities as integration progresses

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
    • 6+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, or related fields. Strong preference for M&A Integration experience.
    • Proven track record of leading complex integration programs, preferably in industrial services, logistics, or automotive aftermarket services industries
    • Exceptional project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong understanding of synergy identification, tracking, and realization.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across executive and operational teams.
    • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth, private equity-backed environments.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
