Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Technician in Arcadia, CA! The Trailer Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Class 7-8 trailers and will operate vehicles, testing all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation. We are not able to train due to the graveyard shift. Hiring senior with experience with Airbrake and DOT repairs.
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Incentive Bonus, Monthly.
Pay: $24.00 hour - $30.00 hour DOE
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 pm - 5:30 pm

What the Trailer Technician role looks like:
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation
- Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on the vehicle
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Must have at least 4 years' experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if it is operating properly
- Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind the cab using normally available footholds and handholds
- Must provide own hand tools
- 2 years of experience performing DOT inspections
- Basic computer skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
