Requirements:
- Must have Type 2 or Universal EPA 608 Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Self-motivated and quality minded mechanic able to perform quality work in an unsupervised capacity
- Refrigerated Trailer Reefer Mechanic should have a minimum of two years hands-on experience or a combination of trade school and hands-on experience
- Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on trailer mounted, single and multi-temp reefer units
- Use and maintain specialty tools and equipment required to perform essential job duties
- HVAC experience is required to successfully perform job duties
- Thermo-King and/or Carrier experience is preferred
- Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
- Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
