Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions Company, is seeking a Med/Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Sacramento, CA areaIf you have at least two years of proven Diesel Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL “A or B” is highly preferred. 

 

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Pay range: $25.00-56.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications!

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Diesel Mechanics should have a minimum of two years hands-on experience 
  • Must have the ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on medium to heavy diesel trucks; gasoline vehicles and light trucks desirable also 
  • Diesel Mechanics with off road equipment experience are highly preferred 
  • Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use 
  • Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check 
  • Diesel Mechanics with OEM training and/or ASE certifications are preferred
