Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Senior HR/Engagement Data Analyst! The Senior HR/Engagement Data Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s employee engagement and turnover reporting strategy. This role partners closely with HR, Operations, and executive leadership to deliver actionable insights that drive engagement, reduce turnover, and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in HR data analysis, advanced proficiency in a BI Reporting Tool, and a passion for turning complex data into clear, compelling analysis.

 

Compensation: Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Pay range: $95,000-120,000 annually, depending on experience! 

 

Location: Walnut Creek, CA; Charlotte, NC or Remote

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Engagement & Turnover Reporting Strategy

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to track key employee engagement metrics, including turnover, retention, and survey results.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop a standard suite of engagement and turnover reports, refreshed on a regular cadence.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define and monitor KPIs that align with engagement initiatives.
  • Establish and continuously improve reporting methodology, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and clarity.

Data Analysis

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and areas of opportunity related to employee engagement, satisfaction, and attrition.
  • Present findings to HR and business leaders using compelling visualizations and clear, actionable insights.
  • Proactively flag risks or anomalies in the data and recommend interventions.
  • Navigate ambiguity and incomplete data sources to reconcile inconsistencies and improve data quality and reliability.
  • Support engagement survey analysis.

Systems & Tools Ownership

  • Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on DOMO, including dashboard creation and data flows.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT to ensure data integrity and availability across relevant systems.

Collaboration & Strategic Impact

  • Work cross-functionally with the HR & Talent Management departments to support programs with data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to executive reporting packages and board-level presentations related to workforce engagement.
  • Guide stakeholders on how to interpret and act on data effectively to support engagement goals.
  • Translate complex data into accessible insights for non-technical audiences; act as a liaison between technical teams and business leaders.
  • Challenge assumptions and evolve recommendations based on what the data reveals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, HR, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics (preferably HR data analytics, with a strong focus on engagement and turnover metrics).
  • Advanced proficiency in BI Reporting Tools (i.e. DOMO, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker); experience building executive-level dashboards.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to distill complex datasets into simple narratives.
  • Exceptional communication skills & strong interpersonal skills; able to partner across diverse personalities and working styles.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft a plus) and survey platforms.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to work through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
