Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading U.S. fleet maintenance company, seeks an experienced Program Manager to drive tactical and strategic initiatives for positive business outcomes. We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional with a proven track record in managing complex programs, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

 

This role directly impacts GM-level goals and requires broad analytical skills, program management, continuous improvement, and an ability to be successful in an ambiguous environment. The successful individual has a proven work ethic to deliver desired results, outstanding communication skills, and drives towards simple, scalable solutions to solve challenging and complex problems. The Program Manager oversees customer relationships, develops complex deliverables, and handles tactical quick-turn projects. They demonstrate exceptional business judgment, constantly innovate to improve operational processes, and suggest new ideas and best practices to enhance the business with an ambitious approach. This role is responsible for diving deep into process, understanding current capabilities and limitations, and making critical judgement decisions about how to handle customer requests and improve their business operations.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical leader that can make data-driven decisions and provide recommendations to key stakeholders about areas of improvement.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to influence internal and external partners, and drive results.

 

This is a remote-based position. Ideal candidates will have a background in fleet/logistics operations (non-tech). Candidates must have the ability to travel up to 15%.

 

Compensation: Competitive salary pay! Paid weekly, every friday! Salary range: $95,000-105,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the owner and champion of multiple complex projects.  Projects may be tied to KPI metric attainment, growth initiatives, cost reduction, quality of work and process adherence, and customer sentiment. 
  • Create a detailed plan for each project that includes time-bound commitments, task owners, estimated completion dates for key milestones, and burndown tables. 
  • Identify inefficiencies in current practices and recommend plans to drive them out of the business. 
  • Engage with client analysts and project managers to provide schedule and status updates, while presenting a mutually agreeable ideal future state.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience preferred, including ability to manipulate and aggregate multiple spreadsheets and organize data using pivot tables, v-lookups, macros.  Ability to organize data and identify and report on trends in both internal and external presentations. 
  • Present results in a document format that includes data-supported findings and recommendations, hits & misses to plan, and recovery plans to address any variances.

Logistics

  • Position will be full-remote with less than 15% travel
  • Weekend work will be required occasionally according to client demand.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in creating project plans and executing on time and on budget.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Analyst background preferred with strong Excel skills is a requirement
  • Excellent analytical skills with a record of conducting FP&A type business analysis
  • Fleet maintenance industry experience a plus

Preferred

  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Six Sigma, Agile Professional, Risk Mitigation Professional, etc.
  • Program Management software experience; Asana, Monday, Smartsheet, etc.
