As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Manager to lead the development and execution of national pricing strategies for vehicle maintenance services within a fleet operations environment. This role plays a critical part in driving profitability and operational efficiency by analyzing cost structures, collaborating with vendors, and aligning pricing models with service delivery goals. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of fleet maintenance to support scalable growth and competitive market positioning.

 

Job Summary:
The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and managing national pricing strategies for vehicle maintenance services in a fleet operations environment. This role requires strong analytical capabilities and in-depth knowledge of fleet maintenance practices to drive profitability and operational efficiency. The Pricing Manager will analyze parts and service costs, collaborate with vendors, and ensure alignment with business objectives and client requirements.

 

Compensation: Competitive salary pay! Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $85,000-95,000, depending on experience!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive and scalable pricing models for preventive maintenance, repairs, parts, and bundled service packages.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate service and parts cost data across vendors and regions to establish optimal pricing aligned with service levels and contract terms.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with Procurement and Vendor Management to benchmark pricing, assess vendor performance, and support rate negotiations and fill rate targets.
  • Contract Pricing Support: Assist in RFP responses, pricing proposals, and renewals by modeling cost scenarios and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Create pricing dashboards and analytical reports to monitor margin performance, cost trends, and key cost drivers using business intelligence tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to align pricing strategies with operational realities and customer expectations.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure all pricing activities adhere to industry standards, internal policies, and contractual requirements.

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or financial planning, ideally in fleet management, transportation, or automotive services
  • Strong understanding of fleet maintenance operations, service intervals, and cost structures
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with cost modeling and business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, DOMO, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP or fleet maintenance systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, TMW, Trimble)
  • Familiarity with government or commercial fleet contracting environments
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance and data-driven service planning
