SUMMARY
This position’s primary responsibility is to with Vector field operational team to support vendor program which are providing materials, parts, tooling, labor, and supplies for company, including those used in maintenance and parts management contract operations. This responsibility involves ensuring pricing, warranties, rebate programs, required insurance, training programs, and volume discounts with vendors meet the requirements of field operations. May attend trade shows and conferences to seek out new suppliers and track trends in the industry. This position will work closely with the Amerit Senior Vice President of Procurement & Vendor Management, Vector Fleet Management’s Director of Operations and Site Managers on local vendor development and contract compliance. Maintain records related to vendor programs and ensure all field and site management are properly trained in its usage. This position will be responsible for working with the Senior Vice President of Procurement on procurement agreements with select vendors. Will work with Business Development team on technical items with proposal development. This position is based in Charlotte, NC and qualified candidates that are not in the Charlotte area must be willing to relocate to this area.
This position will have additional reporting responsibilities to the Senior Vice President Procurement and will serve as the procurement liaison for the Vector brand.
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. In addition to interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Compensation: Competitive salary pay – paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $120,000-135,000

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items. The noise level is consistent with those in an office environment.
Frequent national travel up to 20%.
