Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to support strategic accounts and join our growing team! The Service Advisor position will maintain the Company fleet for maximum equipment life and minimal downtime for medium and heavy duty vehicles. Coordinate, prioritize and schedule fleet repairs and inform customers of the progress of the work.

 

Compensation: Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $70,000-80,000 depending on experience!

 

Shift: Tuesday- Saturday - 1PM to 9:30PM (PST time zone preferred)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What the role looks like:

  • Determine the scope of the repair or maintenance work needed to be done.
  • Manage various internal and external third-party software to update the status of the vehicles. 
  • Obtain information from the technician for parts needed and contact central purchasing to order parts.
  • Manage all parts that are on order and update ETA’s so jobs can be scheduled for repair.
  • Communicate work orders with client and observe workflow progress to ensure work is completed to specified requirements in a timely manner with the technicians and the fleet manager.
  • Schedule planned maintenance events with the client in advance
  • Manage RO lifecycle to ensure timely and accurate completion and billing
  • Identify units out of service and collaborate with Fleet Manger to expedite repairs
  • Answer customer escalations regarding expected maintenance service completion

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

Key Competencies and Minimum Education:

  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive / technical experience (medium and heavy duty)
  • Prior technician/mechanic experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with key vehicle parts
  • Dealership service advisor experience preferred.
  • Ability to update and interact in fleet systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
  • Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read and create spread sheets.
  • Must be multi-tasked oriented.
