• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
• Perform repairs on smaller conveyance carts, utility trailers, cargo wagons, etc. 
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles
• Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance
• Experience with Class 8 trailers and DOT Inspections and repairs
• Must have welding experience (Prefer experience with welding aluminum)
• Must have experience with metal fabrication, wheel and maintenance, lighting/electrical repairs and alignments.
• Experience with PMs, tires, and electrical
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have own tools
• Must have valid driver's license
