EV Diesel Technician / Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled EV Diesel Mechanic / Technician Chino CA! The EV Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of Electric Diesel Class 8 Truck repairs and maintenance. * Note you will be required to discuss your Aftertreament/DEF expertise, Electrical Expertise due to EV Orange or Ottawa Chassis ONLY. No over the road Tractors. Requires 2 years experience repairing EV Orange Yard goats or Switchers.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!   

$28.00 hr -  $35.00 hr DOE

Monday  - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

What the EV Diesel Technician / Mechanic role looks like:

• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to medium to heavy duty vehicles
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
• Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
• Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
• Perform other duties as required

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 3+ years’ experience performing EV diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
• Commercial Driver’s License class “A” or “B “ preferred not required
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
• Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
• Knowledge of hand-held scan tools and the process of diagnosing vehicles.
• Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
