Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Bulk Fueler Mechanic. The Bulk Fueler is responsible for overseeing daily fueling operations, managing assigned workload, and ensuring efficient work processes. This role involves coordinating with your direct manager and collaborating with the Lead Fueler. Amerit Fuelers will report directly to onsite RFM/FM.

 

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday: $40.00-$55.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

 

1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 600am - 20:30pm

Fueling Operations: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Report to the assigned shop location daily and collaborate with Service Writers and FM to receive work assignments for the shift.
  • Primarily operate at the assigned Fuel Farm; travel to other sites only upon RFM request.
  • Coordinate scheduling with leadership and communicate with RFM regarding any site-specific assignments.
  • Request Lead Fueler assistance through RFM as necessary, and ensure scheduling is managed appropriately.
  • Complete all required training materials and certifications required by Boeing and Amerit.
  • Report any employee escalations or issues directly to the RFM/FM or HRBP.
  • Manage all In-tank and fall arrest work at the Seattle location, including scheduling and transferring assets with RFM.
  • Execute all fueling-related tasks as assigned by Boeing BP, adhering to operational standards.
  • Maintain a billable rate of 96% or higher, minimizing indirect time. Apply support for other technicians to specific work orders and ensure administrative time is billed appropriately.
  • Adhere to all Amerit and Boeing policies and procedures including safety.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager or leadership.
  • Perform standardized tests on pumping systems.


Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years in diesel / trailer repair environment
  • Must have tractor and trailer experience, diesel experience for bulk aviation fuel assets, PTO pumps and tanks.
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if vehicle is operating properly.
  • Proven experience in fueling operations or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Experience in quality control and safety management.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing schedules.
  • Clear documentation and reporting skills

 

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Ability to move and position heavy objects.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
