Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a Lot Porter in Seattle, WA. The Lot Porter provides support to the service shop. Duties include but not limited to shop cleanliness, fueling, organizing and transporting vehicles, and assisting in picking and delivering vehicle parts.
Compensation Range: $22.00 - $32.00/Hour - Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Move vehicles & MHE fleet to various locations on site
- Keep yard clean and organized per policy
- Fuel fleet vehicles
- Parts runs for the shop when necessary
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
Preferred Competencies & Education
- At least 3 years in automotive repair environment
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Mechanical Aptitude preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Proficient computer skills
Working Conditions
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
