Trailer Technician / Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician in King of Prussia PA! Our Trailer Mechanics repair and maintenance heavy-duty Class 7-8 trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation (including Air Brakes, 90 BIT & DOT Inspections and Repairs on Class 7-8 Trailers. 

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Incentive, Monthly.

Pay Range:  $26 - $32 hourly pending experience

Days: Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am.  (we promote from within to 1st and 2nd shift)

$25.00hour - $32.00 hour hour DOE - In addition we have a wage excelerator bonus monthly and end up making more money here, than at your current job.

$100 Bonus plus cost for ASE Certs

$15,000 up to Bonus annually for SRT 

$1,000 Referral fee for every Technician referral works 90 days

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy-duty Class 7 - 8 trailers, dollies, and switchers
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Class 7-8 Trailers
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures 
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 3+ years experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or must possess an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
